Frequently asked questions

What's your typical project timeline?+
Most web apps ship in 4–8 weeks depending on scope. I work in weekly sprints with a live preview after each one, so you always see progress.
Do you work with existing teams?+
Absolutely. I slot in as a senior engineer — pairing, reviewing PRs and unblocking — or lead a build end-to-end. Whatever your team needs most.
How do you handle pricing?+
Fixed-scope projects are quoted up front; ongoing work runs on a monthly retainer. No surprise invoices, and you can cancel a retainer anytime.
What happens after launch?+
Every project ships with documentation and a handoff call. I also offer maintenance retainers for monitoring, fixes and new features.
Which time zones do you cover?+
I'm based in Freetown, Sierra Leone (GMT), which overlaps a full working day with London and Europe and several hours with the US East Coast each morning. I keep flexible hours and have shipped with teams from London to Singapore — async-first, with overlap when it counts.
Can you take over a stalled project?+
Yes — rescuing half-finished builds is a big part of my work. I start with a short audit, then give you an honest plan to get it across the line.
Do you work with clients outside Sierra Leone or Africa?+
Yes — most of my clients are in the US, UK and Europe. Being based in Freetown, Sierra Leone means senior-level React, Next.js, Node.js and PostgreSQL work at a fraction of Western day rates, with real time-zone overlap and no agency markup.
